About Sainik School

Sainik Schools are a network of premier educational institutions in India, established with the primary aim of preparing young boys and girls for entry into the National Defence Academy (NDA) and other prestigious military institutions. Entrance Examination (AISSEE)	Date: Usually held in January. Class VI: Mathematics, General Knowledge, Language, Intelligence. Class IX: Mathematics, English, Science, Social Science, Intelligence. – Mode: Pen-and-paper based test. Duration: 150 minutes (Class VI), 180 minutes (Class IX).
